COVID-19 Resources and Information
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, RECE has been working closely with Jersey City Health and Human Services to offer on-site COVID-19 testing and facilitate donations and distribution of masks and hand sanitizer. RECE also collaborated with Community Food Bank of NJ to coordinate and deliver prepared meals to more than 500 senior and disabled residents weekly. Once vaccines became available, RECE again facilitated on-site vaccination events for JCHA residents in partnership with the City. RECE also conducted hundreds of wellness checks via phone in the early months of the pandemic, prioritizing senior and disabled residents.
